The Versailles Collection: Ladies Navy Stretch Dressage Tailcoat

2024 was a very special year for Moore's Riding Wear when our sponsored rider Melissa Galloway realised her lifelong dream to ride at the Paris Summer Olympic Games and so a custom set of tails were designed for Melissa to wear in the beautiful gardens of Versailles. Melissa has always had a classic, minimalist style but this time we doubled down on the 'All Black' theme by sourcing a subtle patterned fabric so that Melissa felt she was wrapped in the NZ Fern and then customising the collar, vest fronts and buttons for a truly seamless look. For the Navy collection Kate has sourced the most beautiful deep dark, midnight navy stretch fabric. 

Our elegant and easy-to-use zips on the cuffs are still inclusive but in addition to decorative sleeve buttons. The comfort and weightlessness was imperative as the Olympics were in the peak of summer heat as Melissa performed under a sweltering Parisian sun.

With one available in each size, these will not be repeated so that you can ensure you will be alone with this precious little tribute to NZ Dressage History and our beautiful Melissa Galloway and her Windermere J'Obei W.
